A new distribution deal, the third or fourth in a short period of time for SoftSwiss, will have GrooveGaming’s portfolio of titles available on SoftSwiss’ platform. This is a win-win situation for both companies while simultaneously offering even more for players, and there are simply no losers when a deal like this is put together.

More New Games Coming to SoftSwiss

In the world of online casinos, and online slots in particular, the software side of things has seen some major shifts over the past 10 to 15 years. While everything used to be about exclusive deals with operators, that is no longer the case, and you’ll have a hard time finding a top casino operator online that only uses software from one developer.

You can see a lot of why this is the case when you look at who wins in the newest deal between GrooveGaming and SoftSwiss.

This deal will have GrooveGaming offering up their full portfolio of titles to be distributed on the SoftSwiss online casino software platform. There are some interesting implications of this deal, especially considering the fact that GG has an overwhelming number of games available already.

Not Just Another Software Company

We’ve reported on a number of deals over the past few months that have added to the SoftSwiss offering. These are usually, but not always, with smaller companies that primarily or exclusively develop online slots. With the new deal with GrooveGaming, things are quite a bit different because of the sheer volume of titles available.

GrooveGaming has over 2,500 total games available in their portfolio, and that has led to them having content deals with a ton of major names in the industry.

Their current list of software partners in this capacity is pretty substantial. It includes major names like EveryMatrix, Gamshy, Vivo Gaming, Microgaming Quickfire and plenty of others. The bottom line is that there’s a ton of content available with GG’s portfolio, and it’s easy to see why they have been such a hot commodity among software distribution platforms.

The Players Ultimately Win

Something that we really like about deals like this is that it’s the players who ultimately win. In the past, if you wanted to play games from a different software company, you’d have to actually create an account and move to a casino site that used that particular software. In the modern era with software developers setting up distribution deals like these, you can get in on the action with tons of games from lots of different software companies without having to do this.

Consider the following:

  • It helps SoftSwiss by giving them more content to offer, which makes them more attractive to operators and players.
  • GrooveGaming gains in this deal by them getting their titles in front of more players.
  • The casino operators are happy with it because they get access to more games to give to their players, which makes them more competitive.
  • The players win because they get access to more high-end content that gives them more options to find titles that they will enjoy.

This last point is one of the biggest reasons why we like deals like this one. It ultimately comes down to giving players more of what they want without them having to move all over the place to track down more games to play.

SoftSwiss Making Big Moves

SoftSwiss has turned up the heat in a big way in 2019. They’ve been making content distribution deals left and right, and that’s interesting because they weren’t really this active over the few years before. We’re glad that they are because it’s giving players more options than what they’ve had previously, and they have a solid platform with a sizable collection of games to pick from.
