Playson has signed a deal with Kindred Group that will see their titles available on this operator’s platform. This will give Playson opportunities to get in front of a lot of new players, and it will even put them in positions where they could open markets they have previously not entered.

Playson Signs With Kindred Group

A recent announcement has let everyone know that Playson’s games will start to be available through casinos operated by Kindred Group. This group is known for operating some of the biggest names in the game, and now they will have an even bigger selection of top-tier titles available thanks to this deal.

While this is a win-win for everyone involved, including the players, the fact of the matter is that it’s a pretty big deal for Playson in particular.

It’s the quality of the games produced by this provider that are ultimately the deciding factor in deals like this one, and it goes to show that quality is still much more important than quantity when it comes to game selection in the modern online casino era where lots of software companies can have titles available at the same sites.

What to Expect From This Deal

It doesn’t look like Kindred Group is going to incorporate the full Playson portfolio right off the bat. We’re not sure if this is a strategic decision or one of technical issues of it taking time to convert things over to fit their platform.

However, one thing we do know is that the first two games to be released to Kindred’s casinos from Playson will be Crystal Crush and Crystal Land, two fairly recent releases.

It’s worth noting that both of these crystal-themed titles were built from the ground up with a focus on players who are getting in on the action via mobile, and that could be part of the decision since companies like Kindred Group have been looking to expand on the mobile side quite a bit at this point since it’s still the largest emerging sector of the online casino industry.

A Strategic Move by Both Companies

Kindred Group has been around for quite a while, and they know that to stay in the position they have carved out for themselves, they have to keep things fresh and moving forward. This is why the Playson deal, which is a big thing overall, is also really just business as usual for them. They’ve been doing this for so long that it’s just another big acquisition in a long line of big acquisitions.

For Playson, however, this deal means a bit more. It’s a strategic move that will get them in front of a lot of players who haven’t been able to enjoy their games before. It’ll also help to get them into areas of the world where they do not have as much of a presence, and that includes major markets like Sweden and the United Kingdom, among others.

It’s a win-win situation for both of these companies, but it would seem that it’s really a bigger deal for Playson because of this level of potential expansion they’re seeing with where the new players are who will be able to check out what they have available.

Moving Forward

From here, we expect to see new games from Playson promoted very heavily by the Kindred Group’s online casinos because they will want to get the most from their investment. This level of promotion will help Playson in the more general sense as well since having the spotlight on a software developer in this industry will generally do that.

With their games coming into new markets as a result of this signing, they will probably see significant growth over the next couple of quarters in terms of new players getting in on the action with their games, and we wouldn’t be surprised if their newer releases get a stronger boost than usual as well.
