A huge acquisition has occurred in the online gambling world. The Bragg Gaming Group has picked up a few major names in the industry. This puts them in a position to be one of the largest groups operating in the industry as a whole.

Big Names Fall Under One Name for Bragg Group

It seems like each month we see lots of new business deals happening in the online gambling world. However, most of them are usually distribution deals or other mutually beneficial arrangements of the like. The most recent of them breaks from this pattern and is actually a full-scale acquisition.

This comes from the Bragg Gaming Group picking up a few different big name brands in the industry.

The details on this are pretty straightforward. They have purchased Wild Streak Gaming and Spin Games. Both of these companies are known for producing a lot of top-tier content. That makes it easy to understand why they picked them up. However, things are a little more interesting when you see how they’re restructuring business as a whole. Additionally, it’s not something that was necessarily expected for a lot of people. All of these details combine to create a particularly compelling story.

New Upcoming Office That Ties Into All of This

For context, it’s important to know that Bragg is opening a new office in Las Vegas later in 2022. This will be the base for the employees who already work for both Spin Games and Wild Streak Gaming, which are largely focused in the United States. New hires are also expected at this office location. Moreover, it will complement their already existing offices in Malta, Toronto and London.

As you can see, this is another step in their building of a global reach. With that said, they’re also consolidating a lot of names under one banner: the Bragg Gaming Group. Each individual game studio they have under their belts will still operate under their respective names. This obviously includes Spin Games and Wild Streak Gaming, both recently acquired. However, it also includes other well-known names like Oryx Gaming, Indigo Magic and Atomic Slot Lab.

North American Content Roll-out

All of these changes, and the acquisition of two notable developer houses, seem to be in anticipation of their biggest North American content roll-out yet. Additionally, it makes more sense that they would want a major office in the gambling capital of North America. While it may also be the gambling capital of the world, that’s not actually what’s important here. Instead, what’s important is that they’re preparing to put out a lot of content into North American markets, particularly in regulated markets in the United States.

This is all going to happen under the Bragg name, However, it will include titles from all of their software developers. Having a mix of names like this helps to create a situation where both players and operators are attracted.

Business Strategy Unleashed

And this brings us to their strategy in these markets. They clearly want to bring a lot of great names under one software package. With this acquisition of Spin Games and Wild Streak Gaming, we can see how it all fits together into one plan. Add in the new Las Vegas office, and once you know the context, it’s all fairly obvious.

Everything points in one direction: They are going hard at a business strategy aimed at emerging markets in the United States. These US markets are growing quarter after quarter. Additionally, it seems like new states are opening up markets every few months. A lot of momentum has been built in this arena, and they want to cash in on the proverbial gold rush.

We have to say they seem to have the right idea. For players, they have lots of great games from a variety of developers. However, for operators and regulators, they have super solid practices and put all of those games under one easily accessible software platform. It’s the perfect storm if they’re able to take advantage of it. With that said, it seems like they have their foot on the gas pedal and aren’t letting off anytime soon.
