Microgaming has an aggressive release schedule that’s well-known in the industry. Their releases for October 2020 include some pretty exciting titles. Here we give you a preview of what’s to come over the next few weeks just before Halloween.
New October Titles Released by Microgaming
Giving players new titles to check out on a regular basis is critical in the industry. Without that, players will get bored and move to a different casino to try something new. Microgaming knows this as much as anyone, and they always deliver as a result.
This October, Microgaming is releasing several new titles through a variety of their software partners.
If you like variety in style and gameplay, this will be an exciting month for you. These new titles cover a lot of ground in terms of the themes and concepts used. However, they also have different formats and play styles. That means that something for everyone is available in this bunch of releases.
Keep in mind as well that most of these titles are through third-party partners. This is the current setup for Microgaming as they focus on maintaining their Quickfire software platform. Players have many advantages under this more modern approach, and you’ll see why in the following.
Hot New Slot Releases
African Legends is the first game on the list. This title is produced through a partnership with Slingshot Studios. It has a progressive jackpot with 243 ways to win. As the name suggests, it has an African Savannah style of theme. The jackpot here seeds at €50,000 through the second-highest of the WowPot jackpots. Additionally, the Rolling Reels feature is employed here, which keeps the volatility down and the hit-rate up.
The 777 Royal Wheel slot will be released on October 15. It comes via Pulse 8 Studios, another software partner for Microgaming. A classic slot theme is used in this game, but it’s still a video slot with five reels. Those reels can randomly turn wild, and you can get wild multipliers of up to 24x.
Mixing Things Up
Another title is being released on October 20. This one is by Gameburger Studios, and it’s Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar. It’s actually based on a novel from 1918 that uses the exact same title. While it doesn’t have a progressive, it does offer a 5,000x static top jackpot. That means that serious wins are available if you hit the right symbol combinations. A free spins mode offers 30 free spins with multipliers as high as 10x as well.
On October 13, players will have access to the new Western Gold slot. Produced by Just For The Win, this title has 40 paylines. The main bonus feature is a free spins mode, and it’s based on a Wild West shootout.
All41 Studios will have their Wanted Outlaws game ready on October 27 as well. It has a similar Wild West theme as Western Gold, but the format and gameplay style are completely different. With five reels, five rows and 3,125 ways to win, action is definitely the name of the game.
Moving to the end of the month, Aquatic Treasures will be released by Gold Coin Studios. Focusing heavily on free spins and expanding wilds, it has five reels and three rows. Also, it will be released on October 29.

Constant Expansion From Microgaming
Microgaming’s game release strategy has changed over recent years. They hardly ever produce any of their own titles at this point. Instead, they have software partners that contribute slots and other games to their main platform.
