Online casino content developer Playson has announced it has signed an agreement to supply its portfolio to Romania’s Platinum Casino, extending its reach in the Eastern European nation. This announcement has come in the wake of Playson’s acquisition of a Class II licence to provide its content for the regulated Romanian market, granted by local regulator ONJN.

Expanding Reach

Under the terms of this new deal, Playson will deliver its titles to the gambling operator’s online division.

Playson’s top-performing games like the Timeless Fruit slots, as well as other highlights like;

  • Mighty Africa
  • Solar Queen
  • Wild Warriors
  • Book of Gold: Classic

…will soon be at the disposal of Platnium Casino regulars.

This is the latest in a series of deals that represent a clear intent on the part of Playson to extend into Eastern Europe. In July, the developers announced a new alignment with Klondaika to supply its full library of slots for the Latvian operator.

Playson’s Senior Account Manager, Christos Zoulianitis, spoke about the new partnership, expressing his organisation’s excitement about the partnership with Platinum Casino.

He added that Playson is actively working to reach new audiences in regulated markets, and confirmed that this is the most recent of “a string of strategic commercial deals“.

The objective of these deals has been to gain a larger presence in Eastern European markets.

Superb Slots Range

Platinum Casino launched in Romania in May 2019, powered by the iGaming platform from Finnplay and operating under a Class I licence in Romania.

Platinum Casino stated their commitment to offering “the latest and greatest games“, and their happiness about the new agreement with Playson.

Beyond Romania, Playson has recently confirmed a deal to expand its reach in Italy. The deal will see them bring their selection of slots to local iGaming operator Betflag.

Playson first made its mark in the Italian market back in spring 2017 via a deal with Microgame. At that time, its slots portfolio included around 35 games.

Today, Playson offers 60+ HTML5 titles available across the full range of channels. The company is headquartered in Malta and Ukraine and boasts licences from the gambling regulators of the UK, Romania and Malta.
