Playtech’s Ultimate Power jackpot has a long and interesting history. Back in the day, it was connected to a series of Marvel comics-themed online slots that have since been discontinued because of the expiration of a licensing agreement, but Playtech didn’t want the series of four progressives tied to them to simply disappear.

It’s only been about six weeks since the last time that this jackpot paid for just under $1 million, and with a seed value at $100,000, it’s easy to see that these wins came pretty close to each other.

There are a few things that players might find really interesting about this top prize. First off, the largest win ever had from this particular jackpot was worth just over $1.3 million, so it’s definitely capable of being a millionaire-maker.
On average, it pays out about once every six weeks, and it’s a jackpot that’s been running back for several years.
The average payout is in the range of $650,000 to $700,000, which isn’t bad at all considering there are three other progressives tied to the same titles. Those other three are the Super Power, Extra Power and Power prizes, and while they are worth less than the Ultimate Power prize, they each hit much more often to compensate.

Playtech really needed something fresh starting in 2017 when their licensing deal with Marvel expired and put their previous games with the Ultimate Power jackpots on the shelf.
