The online casino and slots supplier Red Rake Gaming continues to deliver upon its expansion strategy by entering into the regulated Portuguese online gambling market. The firm is regarded as one of the world’s current leading developers of titles for the online casino industry, and a recent announcement on the Red Rake website confirmed it was partnering with Bet Entertainment Technologies Ltd to supply content to the bet.pt site.

Red Rake now holds two licenses from the Portuguese online gambling regular, SRIJ. One license is for the provision of online sports betting, with the other covering the operation of casino and slots games.

European Takeover

Since 2015, Red Rake has been making in-roads into various international markets. The partnership means that the company will roll out some of its top performing games, including Maya, The Asp of Cleopatra and Mystic Mirror to Portuguese players for the first time.

This recent announcement comes hot on the heels of news that the developer recently launched its online casino games in the UK via TradaCasino.

Commenting on the latest partnership, Red Rake managing director Nick Barr said that the move into the Portuguese market was a “fundamental step” in the company’s strategy to make a further move into the European online casino market.

Mr Barr added that the fact the firm was launching in Portugal with one of the most respected casino operators in the country was a testament to the “quality of content” Red Rake provides.

Continued Success

After securing a license from the UK Gambling Commission at the beginning of 2019, Red Rake has shown no signs of slowing down. The firm also intends to roll out slots games with several of the most respected online gambling operators in Malta.

Online gambling commentators have noticed that operating in Malta is serious business for Red Rake, with some noting that the company has also expanded physically to the island, having recently set up its business development team there.

In addition to the UK and Portugal, the supplier’s innovative content has been recently made available in several other European countries including Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
