Top iGaming company SoftSwiss has just obtained a B2B license from the HGB. This allows them to team up with local Greek operators. SoftSwiss can also provide local casinos with content from 12 partner studios.

SoftSwiss Officially Licensed as B2B Operator in Greece

SoftSwiss, one of the world’s leading iGaming content aggregators, has received licensing to operate in Greece. The Hellenic Gaming Commission has granted the company a Manufacturer Suitability License. This license allows them to legally provide B2B gambling content across the Greek market.

In addition to their B2C license, iGaming aggregator SoftSwiss has recently obtained a B2B Manufacturer Suitability License from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.

The SoftSwiss Manufacturer Suitability License is viable for seven years. Additionally, they will also be able to provide local operators with content from a dozen other gaming studios. This positions SoftSwiss highly advantageously in the Greek online gambling market.

Despite obtaining this license, the operating conditions are still quite strict. SoftSwiss can only allow players with Greek passports, identification and active bank accounts to access their content. Under HGB regulations, permanent residents are also permitted to play from the SoftSwiss portfolio.

SoftSwiss COO Andrey Starovoitov said, “Obtaining a Greek gaming license was the result of SoftSwiss’ long and hard work, which over the years has accumulated extensive experience and understanding of the iGaming market.”

Andrey Starovoitov also commented on how well SoftSwiss is able to recognize the needs of clients. This new Greek license is another key part of their overall expansion plans. By permeating the Greek market, SoftSwiss is able to better serve both players and operators moving forward.

Onwards and Upwards For SoftSwiss

SoftSwiss is known for its relentless drive to continually improve its offerings for players around the world. The aggregator is consistently introducing new features such as cryptocurrency support, new jackpots and better payment methods. This is all part of their recent rebranding strategy, and it is working well.

Earlier in 2021, SoftSwiss obtained a B2C license from the Greek regulatory body. This allowed the brand to follow through on a partner project in the Greek online gambling market. Obtaining a B2B license is a wise next step for SoftSwiss for many reasons. It expands their legal capabilities and allows unimpeded future growth across the market.

SoftSwiss wasted no time in applying for Greek licensing. The Greek government only officially adopted new online gambling regulations in October 2019. The newly-formed Hellenic Gaming Commission did not allow applications until the end of 2020. Under the new guidelines, there are two separate operating licenses. One allows online gambling, and the other allows online betting.

In this short span of time, SoftSwiss has become one of only a handful of licensed operators. Additionally, they have worked hard to qualify for both a B2C and B2B license. This gives them a solid foothold in the Greek online gambling sphere for the future.
