The YG Masters program allows independent developers to design games for Yggdrasil’s platform. The most recent addition to this lineup is Bulletproof Games. They’re known for making high-quality, action-oriented titles, and they’re a great addition for the platform.
Bulletproof Games Added to YG Masters Program
The online casino industry, especially in the slots sector, has developed a bit of a problem. So many casinos have games from all of the major software providers. This has gotten to the point that you can get most of the same games at most of the top casinos.
Things like the YG Masters program were put into place to try to combat this. The idea is to create exclusivity through deals with companies that are often smaller in size.

Bulletproof Games has been around since 2015. In those five or six years, they’ve actually developed quite a few slots that have done well. These games include titles like Tiki Runner, Blackbeard and Dragon Lore.
Their style is fairly interesting in that they mix both the aesthetic and gameplay elements. Some developers, especially lesser known companies, get stuck focusing primarily on one or the other. It appears that Bulletproof Games has been able to avoid that trap. We’re sure that’s at least part of the reason why they were offered this deal by Yggdrasil.
The Success of the YG Masters Program
Ever since it started, we’ve been extolling the success of the YG Masters program. They’ve pulled together deals with some really great companies that have developed some awesome games. This is the type of thing that’s great for players because it gives them new, fresh titles in different styles than what they’ve already seen.
With that having been said, it’s also good for the casinos. It gives them something new to offer players that isn’t available everywhere. It also goes without saying that Yggdrasil benefits from this because of the boost it gives their software.
Evolution of the Industry
These types of programs have been implemented by a handful of top providers. Microgaming is another good example. While so much of the industry was focused on getting as many software providers under one roof for so long, it created a problem in that casinos had a hard time getting a competitive edge because there were fewer ways to differentiate them from a game selection standpoint.
The whole idea here is that the industry has evolved and changed with the times. Now they’re specifically looking for high-quality content that isn’t so widely available. As such, these programs have had a major effect on the industry. They’ve also had a big effect on what players expect from software platforms.
What to Expect Next
From Bulletproof Games, we can expect the same high level of content that they’ve put out before. The only difference is the games involved with this deal will only be available through Yggdrasil. That’s a pretty safe bet because the quality of their work has been really high pretty consistently since the beginning.
From Yggdrasil, we can expect them to really promote the titles that come out of this agreement. On top of that, we can expect them to continue to do great things with the momentum they’ve build. They’re really serious about taking over as much of the market as they can. Along these lines, don’t be surprised if you see even more distribution deals signed through their YG Masters program sooner rather than later.
