In a move that shows just how much Pragmatic Play continues to invest in its future, they have added a sizable amount of office space to their operations in Malta. This has some serious implications for where the company is headed and what they want to achieve.
Malta Sees an Expansion in Size by Pragmatic Play
Malta has been a hotbed for the online casino and larger online gambling industry for decades. Back before the era of so many regulated jurisdictions, having a license from the Malta Gaming Authority held a lot of weight. In many ways, it was considered the gold standard of licenses at the time and for good reason.
This is one of the many reasons why Pragmatic Play’s recent moves there are so important.
Even to this day, Malta is a critical part of the larger online gambling industry. Many top companies have offices there for a variety of reasons. Additionally, Pragmatic Play is no different. However, the fact that they are expanding on what exists there is an important sign for their future. They could have opened more offices just about anywhere, but instead, they choose what many people consider to be the mecca of the business side of the industry.

Almost 1,000 Square Meters of New Office Space in the Mix
The new facilities actually sound really nice based on the details we’ve been given. Located in the resort town of Sliema, around 75 people will be working from the new office location. Around 950 square meters of space will be available with workspace both indoors and outdoors. Moreover, brand new, top of the line conference rooms and booths have been installed as well.
Something that stood out to us is how much of an emphasis was placed on networking in the actual build of the office. However, networking is such a critical part of the online gambling industry that we can’t be surprised. Specific areas are set up to facilitate this type of networking both inside and outside of the company.
All of this comes together to tell the story that’s central to this announcement. That story is all about the long-term future that this company has intended to play out.
Taking Care of Their People
When you invest in office space like this for the future, investing directly in your people comes into play too. Pragmatic Play was able to tie that all in to one in some pretty cool ways. A big part of this is how the office space has built-in room for well-being activities. This includes yoga classes, sessions with personal trainers and other perks.
Additionally, this is all a part of how their reputation for how they treat the people who work for them. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. They’re all about building to the future, and the more they invest in their employees and other workers, the more everyone benefits in the long run. We love seeing this side of things in the industry, especially from a company that has shown over time how much they care about their players as well.
Sustained Growth Over the Years
For several years now, Pragmatic Play has held a serious rate of growth. Along these lines, it’s not all surprising that they have a need for opening more office space. Moreover, it’s also not surprising that they’ve chosen to open this space where they have.
This is a software company that releases several new titles each and every month. Additionally, they’ve grown from being primarily known for slots to being able to being a formidable player in the live dealer space. Who knows where they will take things in the future, but what is certain is the following. They are taking their future very seriously, and with the momentum they have behind them, it seems like they have plenty of reason to do just that.
