Push Gaming has set up a new distribution deal to have their games offered through the Gamesys online casino group.
Their games are expected to roll out pretty quickly at sites like JackpotJoy and Virgin Casino. These are major names in the UK side of things as well as they’re some of the most popular sites.
What we see here is some major implications in the UK scene for Push Gaming as they expand their reach. This is a pretty big deal if you’re a player from the United Kingdom, and we’ll show you why.
A Quick Turnaround Time
Typically, you may expect it to take a little while for a roll-out like this to occur. The time between the business deal being signed and the games actually being available is usually substantial. However, that’s not the case here because of Push Gaming’s preparation.
Because Push Gaming’s titles and software are already licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, they’re able to hop right in and have their titles added as soon as possible on a technical level. This saves a lot of headache and makes it easier for them to increase the size of their hold on the market.
Some of their most popular titles are expected to be big hits at these casinos. Titles like Mystery Museum, Jammin Jars and Joker Troupe will probably be the most popular new games added at first. However, since this deal includes all upcoming Push Gaming slots as well, that’s sure to change over time.
Holding Down the United Kingdom Market
The market in the United Kingdom is so important because of its regulatory guidelines. Having a license to operate in the UK means that you meet some of the toughest regulations, rules, policies and guidelines out there, which in turn means that you’ll have little to no problem getting a license from virtually anywhere else on the planet.
Push Gaming already has distribution deals with some of the biggest names in the UK. This includes the Rank Group, sports betting juggernaut William Hill and GVC. It’s hard to find heavier hitters than this, and it would be understandable for Push Gaming to rest on their laurels with such a hold on the market. However, that’s simply not good enough for them, and they’re continuing to apply pressure for new deals.
What to Expect From Push Gaming Moving Forward
For the time being, they are obviously going to be happy about their titles being available at some new sites. Even though they’re already aligned with some of the biggest names, it’s not like Gamesys is a small group. This new content distribution agreement is a pretty big deal and stands on its own merit.
With that said, we like to look to the future to see what we can expect from companies like this. Push Gaming is clearly aggressive in how they have been making moves, so we expect to see two things from them:
- A continued aggression in their release schedule with new titles coming out regularly
- An increased aggression in getting their foot in the door in other regulated markets
While dominating the UK scene is great, there is only so much market share for them to take over. That’s why we predict that we’ll start to see less expansion there with more in other markets.
