Betting and Layout

One of the first things you’ll notice is that the layout has a few different moving parts. Different parts of the game board are boxed in with groups of symbols and so on. Additionally, it’s a larger grid than what you’re used to. Thankfully, most of these elements are used for features and don’t need to be understood initially to see how payouts are awarded at the most basic level. • Seven columns and seven rows are used to create the 49-spot game board. It’s worth noting that there are always seven seraphim, even after Lucifer was cast out of the group and was replaced.

Three Sections of the Game

The grid in this title is actually broken into three sections. On the far left, you have the dark section that consists of three vertical columns. Likewise, the far right three columns are the light section. From there, you have the single middle column that’s the scatter section.

Within these three sections are moving areas that consist of a small border that can float around to different positions during the game. For the dark and light sections, it’ll always be a two by two square that consists of four symbols. However, for the scatter area, it’ll always be the bottom symbol position of the middle column.

Wild Golden Shield Symbols

The golden shield with a W on it is the wild symbol in this title. It can appear in any position on the game board. Likewise, it naturally helps to create cluster wins. Additionally, it interacts with the floating light and dark areas in a very intelligent way.

If a wild lands in either of these areas, that entire two by two square will be filled with four wild symbols.

On top of that, it’s possible to get multiple wilds in one of those areas at once. If you do, then they’re hit with a multiplier that matches that number when they fill the four-spot square.

Note that all winning combinations in this game have to include a minimum of one non-wild. Additionally, wilds can be used for multiple winning clusters at the same time. However, they do not substitute for scatters.

Avalanche Feature

A simple and straightforward avalanche feature is used in this game. If any winning combination is awarded, it will be paid out normally. From there, all winning symbols disappear to create empty spaces. As you might expect, those empty spaces are filled from symbols falling in from above.

The end result is another opportunity to win. However, if you do so, then the process continues over and over again. Blue Guru Games put no limit on how many avalanches you are able to pick up in a row along these lines.

Scattered Golden Eye Symbol and Free Spins

Looking almost like something out of the Mystic Orbs slot, the eye with the golden wings is the scatter. It can only appear in the middle column, aptly named the scatter section. When it appears on the far bottom spot on that reel, it will activate a set of free spins. The avalanche features helps to move the scatter down as you can imagine.

You can choose between the light or dark free spins modes, which give you 15 or 8 free spins, respectively. The latter has a higher volatility than the former, but the overall value is the same for each option.

Six symbols are used in this game in total. They’re paired up for light and dark versions of each other with the dark side having red characteristics and the light having green highlights instead.

The best wins in this game are for clusters that are 40 symbols or bigger. Any win of 40 or more symbols counts as the same prize. For the dark seraphim, presumed to be Lucifer, the payout is 1,000x for 40 or more. On the light seraphim side of things, probably meant to be a female rendition of Michael, you’ll earn 500x for 40 or more.

From there, the red trident is worth 150x for 40+ while the gold and green bident gets you 100x instead. Finally, the red gem and green gem symbols earn you 50x and 30x for 40 or more of each, respectively.

It’s hard to give this game enough praise. In terms of titles that go outside of the box as much as they did here, it’s definitely up there with some of the best we’ve ever seen.
