The Fortune 6 Baccarat rules are pretty much the same as regular Baccarat. This table game is famous for its simplicity and the same applies here. Hence both new and seasoned players at live Baccarat casinos should have no trouble getting their heads around the gameplay.

Baccarat uses a standard playing card deck of 52 cards. A dealer distributes cards consecutively from a shoe to two positions called the Player and the Banker. You can bet on either of these positions, or a tie.

Zero points are awarded for face cards and Tens, with an ace giving one point, while others maintain their face value. When a pair of cards add up to a sum exceeding nine, the second digit becomes the value of that hand. So for example, a five and an eight gives 13 when summed. That means this hand’s value is actually three.

Fortune 6 Baccarat Side Bets

This side bet is also applicable to the Player and Banker positions. If your selected hand forms a total hand value of six, it’s a win for you. Additionally, if the other hand wins with a Natural, that is a total of 8 or 9, you win your bet back. 

Winning with the Player position rewards you with a 14 to 1 payout while the Banker position offers 16 to 1. The side bet remains active only during the first 40 hands from the dealing shoe.

Player or Banker Fortune Pair

As the bet’s title implies, this option is also available for the Player and Banker positions and works with pairs only. Interestingly, it covers number and suit pairs, typically called a flush. 

If the cards are a pair of the same suit, the payout is 1 to 1. Expect 5 to 1 when it is a numbered pair and 9 to 1 if it is a suited pair. This side bet is disabled after the first 40 hands from a shoe.
